Children’s Miracle Network Sponsors Two Events in August at Prien Lake Mall 
“Cute Kids” Photo Contest and New Play Area

The 2010 Children’s Miracle Network “Cute Kids” Portrait Contest fundraiser will begin with photo sessions August 20-22 in conjunction with a special grand opening of the newly renovated CMN Play Area.

Children, newborn to six years old, are eligible to participate in the Cute Kids Contest. The entry fee is $5 per child and includes a complimentary 5 x 7 portrait and the chance to win fabulous prizes.

Official contest portraits will be taken by professional photographers in the Sears Court Area:
Friday, August 20—10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 21—10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 22—12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Children’s Miracle Network invites the community to join them for fun and prizes at the grand opening of the newly renovated Play Area on Saturday, August 21 at 1:00 p.m. The renovation features the addition of healthy living elements focused on nutrition and an active lifestyle. The “Farmers Market” is miniature in scale, featuring healthy vegetables and encourages safe climbing and sliding. The surrounding play surface is designed to stimulate the senses and encourage physical play with winding lakes, a vegetable garden and a walking path.

Contest photographs will be on display for voting in the Prien Lake Mall on September 17 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on September 19 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Winners will be announced on Sunday, September 19 at 3:00 p.m. The top five “Cute Kids” receiving the most votes will be awarded with prizes. The Grand Prize winner will also appear on the Children’s Miracle Network Telecast June 3-4, 2011, broadcast live on KPLC-TV.
