So, how do we make this happen in such a challenging healthcare environment? CHRISTUS St. Patrick continues to add state-of-the-art centers of excellence that are available to care for the needs of the Southwest Louisiana community. The hospital has also implemented programs to deliver cost-effective treatment more quickly and safely. The administrators, doctors, nurses and medical staff, many of whom were born at CHRISTUS St. Patrick and are lifelong Lake Charles residents, strive to provide a healing, Christian environment and the latest in technology to meet these healthcare challenges.
On St. Patrick’s Day, 2008, the hospital celebrated its 100th Anniversary. To commemorate this milestone in the hospital’s Journey to Excellence, the Foundation has launched a three-year Centennial Celebration Campaign to establish a multi-million dollar Centennial Fund. Patient care, cancer, mental health, cardiovascular disease, education, prevention/wellness programs and capital needs will be prioritized, and the funds raised during the campaign will be directed toward meeting those needs.
